This March, I joined by parents for a short trip to the sea side. Arriving at Bremen airport, it was another one hour drive until we arrived at the city of Cuxhaven at the North Sea coastline.
Unfortunately the weather was really not as good as expected (or hoped for) but our apartment was right next to the water close to the "Alte Liebe" and the harbor which gave us a bunch of opportunities to watch the ships passing by.
There were plenty - from mini guidance boats to smaller & larger fishing vessels to oil tankers, cargo ships, ferries & huge container ships. During our stay, we saw four 400m long container ships which was a really impressive sight!
